Goals for 2019

Get out more

My boys love being outdoors playing in the mud and puddles but lately I have found any excuse not to go out. So I am going to take part in the #150hoursoutside, it is a project set up by Leah McDermott and aims to get children playing outside more in 2019, have a look at her Instagram to find out more.

we are so lucky where we live that we have a common that is two minute walk from our house, as well as a park that is only ten minute walk. so why isn't it being used more by me and my little family purely because we have been to lazy.

Make time for myself

Pretty obvious one but us mamas and daddy's don't make enough time for our self's. We need that time to be grown ups. Not the working one or the parent but just us as a grown up. Whether that means having date night as a couple more often or making time to go to the hairdresser ( as I haven't been in about 7 months).

Holidays

My aim here is to have two holidays this year. nothing fancy. One is booked for us to go to Butlins with friends, the other is for us to go on a Sun holiday. by this I mean the £9.50 Sun holiday. if the weather is good you don't need to go abroad. Some of my fondest memories as a child was going to a family members chalet in Norfolk with my mum, dad and brother.

Andy and I love the isle of Wight so that will most likely be our destination of choice.

I have loved doing this so far and I know that I am know where up to scratch yet with it all. But I have loved doing it and feel that it is really helping me as a person. After some of the feed back I have had from some very lovely ladies, and their support it has made me even more eager to make a real go of it.

Acts of kindness

By this I don't mean I'm going to go and film my self giving people £100's of pounds as I don't have that, I mean smiling at people and saying hello to them in the street. Picking up rubbish that is littering our road or local park / common. by doing small things like these it can help to make a big impact on our local community.
